UNESCO-Aschberg artists bursary program
The Unesco-Aschberg artist bursary program embodies the principles set out in the Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions. It is aimed at enriching musical creation and diversity by multiplying the exchange of experiences and knowledge among young artists from developing countries and Montreal creators from all cultures. Award winners are welcomed to a creation residence where they are put in contact with numerous musicians from every world culture. They meet other artists and perform musical explorations, improvisations and creations. The resulting work is then performed at the MMM Festival.
Musique Multi-Montréal acknowledge the support of the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec for this project.
