Monday, March 21st 2011 – The MMM Festival team (Le festival des musiques du monde de Montréal) invites you to the program unveiling of its 21st edition, Monday April 11 2011, at 5 pm at the Théâtre Plaza.
The MMM Festival 21st edition puts song at the heart of its program and invites the Montreal public to a discovery journey into songs and voices of the world. Jean-Marc Ravatel, artistic director of the event, conceptualized this edition. It will bring together on stage artists from the North and the South, from the East and the West, who will band together to make their voices heard: voices from Armenia, Haiti, Algeria, Mali, Scandinavia, etc.
Furthermore, the artists at the Festival will perform at new broadcasting locations. In fact, the MMM Festival leaves Ahuntsic-Cartierville cultural center to occupy the Théâtre Plaza and Les Bobards where the Grands Concerts and the Nuits MMM series will respectively be held.
The MMM Festival MMM will take place from April 27 to May 7 2011. Tickets will be available through the Admission network.
Musique Multi-Montréal (MMM) is an organization which has been producing over 15 original shows each year over 20 years. The high point of its activities is its Festival, an annual event which allows the organization to produce and release concerts staging local, national and international artists.
