MUSIQUE MULTI-MONTÉAL PRESENTS
for the first time in Montreal

DELHI 2 DUBLIN
November 11, 2010 at Théâtre Plaza

Montreal, 12 August 2010 — Musique Multi-Montréal is proud to present, for
the first time in Montreal and for one evening only, the Vancouver group Delhi
2 Dublin, performing on November 11, 2010 at Théâtre Plaza.

Their new album, Planet Electric, mixed by the producer DJ Swami (recipient of
the UK Asian Music Awards 2008), was released on May 4, 2010. Influenced by
bhangra, dub and Celtic music, the five musicians of Delhi 2 Dublin play a
fusion of world beat and electronic music, using a variety of instruments: tabla,
violin, dohol, Punjabi vocals and electric sitar. In 2009 they received the Western
Canadian Music Award for best world music recording. This up-and-coming
Canadian group performs at top festivals all over North America.
